The Haiti Child Sponsorship Program is the sole source of funding for the Good Shepherd School in Pele, one of the most impoverished villages in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This is the only school available to the children of Pele. In sponsorship, a child is given what is usually his or her only meal for the day––as well as a glimmer of hope and joy.

The entire support of the school program depends on Child Sponsors who pledge $25 per month or more to a fund that provides for the school’s needs—the salaries for 25 teachers, materials, clean water, the health clinic, and a feeding program.

Our coordinator Julie Scott carefully accounts for all funds. Over 90% of every dollar goes directly to the school. Perhaps God will challenge you to send $25 per month to help a child in Haiti.

You can also sponsor a child and send your gift automatically each month by using the bill pay service of your bank or credit union. If you have online banking you should be able to do this at no charge to you--if fact, you save the cost of a stamp every month! The wording varies depending on the bank, but in general you would add us as a company without an account number. You will only need to enter our name ("Haiti Child Sponsorship") and address (400 Peachtree Ind. Blvd. #5-285 Suwanee, GA 30024). Please contact us if you need help making this option work!
