The Child Sponsorship Program serves the children of Pele, one of the poorest areas in the hemisphere's poorest country. There is no other school in Pele and food is scarce. The Good Shepherd School, which receives all of its funding from Child Sponsorship, provides a glimmer of hope to an utterly impoverished community.
Students receive a quality education from Haitian teachers, basic health care, and one hot meal per day, for many, their only meal.
